Ivy Donovan holds a Masters Degree in Social Emotional Development, a Bachelors of Science in Social Work, is a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is also certified in early childhood education, early childhood physical education, accessible yoga, and yoga for children and exceptional learners. She leads group therapy sessions in behavioral health hospitals and in the psychiatric unit of the Denver Women's Correctional Facility.
Ivy is focused on advocating for exceptional learners and at-risk youth through teaching social and emotional skills, such as self awareness, self regulation, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. She is especially fascinated with the nervous system and using Yoga and SEL strategies to help clients understand emotion regulation through an embodied approach. She is skilled at creating a calming, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment that fosters self confidence and resilience.
In her free time, Ivy enjoys traveling, dancing, trapeze, stand up paddle boarding, and adventures with her family.
