Yoga has many applications. It is movement. It is stillness. It is union of the mind and body. It is connecting to the breath as our most vital life force. Yoga is compassion, for ourselves and others. It is where curiosity comes out to seek answers and see things through a fresh set of eyes. Yoga is a way of life. Yoga is social and emotional development. A lifelong journey of learning, progressing, forgetting, and remembering again. What does yoga mean to you?

Group Classes:
Fun, lighthearted yoga sessions that are accessible for all abilities. These sessions are designed to develop muscle tone, increase flexibility, introduce relaxation and self regulation techniques, increase focus and concentration, and promote empathy and self confidence all in a calming environment.
Each class is structured similarly, to provide predictability. With every class, students will learn at least one grounding technique, one breathing technique, experience a guided visualization, poses that are designed to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system (connection and safety) and themes that foster emotional literacy. ...all techniques that can be utilized both on and off the mat.
Families and peers are welcome and encouraged to join us. No previous yoga experience required.
Vinyasa
This is an all levels class that promotes flowed movements that encourage 'one breath, one movement' sequencing. Class components include movement, flow, balance, strength, and stretching. The pace of the class is determined by the wants and needs of the students.
Restorative
This class guides students into relaxing poses aimed to soothe the nervous system to allow the mind and body to relax, rejuvenate, and recharge. Students are guided into relaxing postures that are fully supported by props and are given ample time and space to fully let go. We like to to call this "napping yoga".
Chair
Postures and movements that aim to promote spinal flexibility. These classes will meet the desired level of the students. Just because we're in a chair, does not mean we only do gentle yoga. Challenging, engaging, and fun!
Meditation / Guided Visualization
Sometimes we just need stillness. While every one of our yoga classes ends in some form of meditation, this session focuses solely on the benefits of stillness. Guided visualizations, body scans, nidra, story telling, sound baths.
